ASTM B165 (UNS N04400) Seamless Pipe

ASTM B165 (the same as ASME SB-165) is the standard specification covering the nickel-copper alloy Monel 400 (UNS N04400) in the form of cold-finished seamless tubing.GNEE supplies Monel 400 seamless tubing in sizes ranging from 2″ to 16″ with nominal wall thicknesses of SCH10, SCH20, SCH40, SCH80, XS, and STD.

Seamless tubing manufactured to ASTM B165 shall be supplied in the annealed or stress relieved condition. Annealed tubing has a softer surface and a non-glossy finish. Stress relieved means heat treated below the annealing temperature to remove most of the internal stresses. This tubing has a thinner surface and varies in color from light to dark.
